Wave after wave...

With the hair curler you get that "Hollywood Actress" look!

I know that most women are never satisfied with what they have. I am one of them and I admit it!
I was born with a pretty blonde and curly hair. That was the option, according to my mother. She wanted only boys - she was left with two daughters as a punishment! - but she said to my father that she would accept a girl with white skin, blonde hair and with blue eyes. And so it was! Blonde, super pale, gray-blue eyes - I do not understand what happened but the color changed, unfortunately - and so blond that my hair shines in all flash pictures of my baby álbum. Natural curly hair have come with the color too. But my mom hates curls.
I'm not sure if I grew up with the same "trauma", but for years I straightened my hair to hide the curls, and I still do. I just let  them "pop up" in the summer, because gives me that beach waves look. I think in all of this what makes me keep it straight is the work. It takes a lot of time to always keep a beautiful curly hair! If you have curly hair tell me what you think!
In the middle of all of this, nowadays I love using hair curler to make some perfect curls. Strange? Very. Even more because it's enough to blow dry my hair and I'm ready. But with the hair curler you get that "Hollywood Actress" look. So today's post is about hair, and how I curly it.

To keep your curls for a longer time, wash your hair and use only shampoo. Wear a mask or conditioner will leave it too silky and the curls will lose shape faster.

Always use na heat protector to avoid damaging the hair with the temperature of the hair curler. Apply before starting to curl.

The hair curler that I use is the Imetec one. It also acts as an hair straightener, and has a set of adapters in case you want to make more perfect curls, looser curls and even the Beach Waves that we ear so much about. Just put a small section of hair between the straightening plates and rotate it 360ª, taking it always from top to bottom.

The longer you slide the hair curler, more perfect is the curl. In my case, as I have a heavy hair, I always try to make the most perfect curls so they don't lose shape during the day/night.

Put some hair spray to help maintain the shape.

This is the final result. Attentionnear the face, the movement with the hair curler should be faster for a more natural wave.

If you prefer a look with looser curls you can use a brush or your fingers to make them lose the perfect shape.

Finally, and to ensure that the hair is hydrated, I use an oil and apply it on the length and ends.
